What is it like to be in a hospital/medical centre for a day as a patient?
So my question is, "What is it like to be in a hospital/medical centre for a day as a patient?" Personally, I've haven't stayed in a hospital/medical as a patient for a day. Please be as descriptive as possible.

- when you first go in you have to go to check in with the register and that is a lot of paperwork. you need all your info including your insurance information. once you get that done which usually takes up to 30 minutes or more they will send you to where you are going. if it is for surgery they will send you there and you will wait in another waiting room for someone to call you. you get called and they will bring you to a room ask more questions about you havbe you eaten today which is a very big question for surgery cause if you have eatten within 12 hours of the procedure they can cancel it cause you can get sick and throw up. you then get your little gown and they want you to take off all you clothes and put the gown on with the back is wide open . then you lay there and they will come and take blood and then they willput an iv in,,, they will come and ask you more questions such as if you have a living will which means if you go into cardiac arrest or something worse they will not revive you ,they ask if you are a organ donor. then you lay there and wait until the surgery which can be long or short depending on the schedule
