Better Care Medical

Can you get medical care without insurance?

I was on my parents insurance. Now it's running out. I can only find part time fast food work with no benefits. My girlfriend, baby and I are living with her parents while I take a course to try to get a better job so we're not eligible for medicare. Will doctors see me if I need medical care?

  1. Regular doctors may choose not to see you if you're not insured, legally though you can receive medical attention from a local hospital regardless. Note thats 'May choose' not 'will not'. You may have a better chance arranging payment options through the hospital, but you'll pay less through a regular doctor. You might also look into 'Urgent Care' clinics in the area. They're usually 50 to 60 dollars to be seen by the physicians.
  2. They'll see you if you can pay for the services yourself...they'll probably make you pay up front for any services
  3. Yes - but you'll have to pay for it. It's not free.
  4. Yes. Most doctors and hospitals will be happy to provide you with medical care, for cash payment.
  5. Some will some won't but whatever happens you'll have to foot the bill.
