Can you get medical care without insurance?
I was on my parents insurance. Now it's running out. I can only find part time fast food work with no benefits. My girlfriend, baby and I are living with her parents while I take a course to try to get a better job so we're not eligible for medicare. Will doctors see me if I need medical care?

- Regular doctors may choose not to see you if you're not insured, legally though you can receive medical attention from a local hospital regardless. Note thats 'May choose' not 'will not'. You may have a better chance arranging payment options through the hospital, but you'll pay less through a regular doctor. You might also look into 'Urgent Care' clinics in the area. They're usually 50 to 60 dollars to be seen by the physicians.
- They'll see you if you can pay for the services yourself...they'll probably make you pay up front for any services
- Yes - but you'll have to pay for it. It's not free.
- Yes. Most doctors and hospitals will be happy to provide you with medical care, for cash payment.
- Some will some won't but whatever happens you'll have to foot the bill.
